Panchkarma

An Ayurvedic Panchakarma or PK is a detoxing programme with long-lasting health benefits. Panchakarma in Sanskrit means ‘five actions’ which are treatments that are integral to the ayurvedic process of purifying the body. Your PK programme is put together according to the number of days you have chosen to stay with us and your health issues. The initial diagnosis and daily consultations with the doctor will ensure you receive the best treatments – the longer the stay, the more efficient the PK. Doing a PK is giving the self ‘me time’. It is a gift of rejuvenation to the body, mind and soul that everyone deserves.

Panchakarma cleansing procedure in Ayurveda has three main phases:

1. POORVA KARMA

In this phase body and mind are prepared with various treatments for the cleansing. The treatments help to dislodge the deep-seated toxins in the body and make them ready for elimination.

2. PANCHAKARMA

Pancha means five and Karma means actions. There are the five cleansing treatment methods used for detoxification of the body and the doctor will decide which is the most suitable.

3. PASHCHAATH KARMA

Post-therapeutic dietetics is designed to enhance and re-establish the digestive fire. Specially tailored diet is administered after the completion of the cleansing treatments to enhance the benefits of the Panchakarma and rejuvenation.
